Deliverance - Oppression Help GCChurch | Watford Hertfordshire

Deliverance through the Word

Note: Please understand that deliverance is for the desperate, these are very serious issues one may be experiencing. A person needs to be sincere, honest and open and must be willing to confess all sins; any hidden sin will make any type of deliverance very difficult. A real desire and humble heart to know Jesus Christ personally and genuinely will result in freedom from any spiritual oppression. You should also be discipled and equipped for the works of ministry. True deliverance is not only "come out Satan", but co-labouring with a person until Christ is formed in them; getting Jesus into a person and showing/building in them their true identity - the new creation. True power is this, to be free from yourself, the past, the hurt, the pain and all the lies you have ever believed.

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36

If you are suffering and are being oppressed by evil spirits in the night, in your thoughts, dreams or everyday life then the Lord Jesus Christ will set you free. You don't have to live a life of torment no matter how long the darkness has been with you. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. If you are truly willing, the Lord will set you free. (If you have suffered from personal trauma and abuse see this page)

Follow These Steps

  • Repent and believe in the Gospel (also, stop any/all spiritual warfare, binding/loosing against any principalities and powers; repent immediately ).
  • Get baptised if not already.
  • Get baptised in the Holy Spirit ( This is evident by a transformation inside, a heart change, good fruits).
  • Read and believe the word of God each day. This is spiritual food.
  • Join a Bible believing church of believers and follow the commands of Christ.
  • Renew your mind. Aim for the mind of Christ.
  • Live a Holy and sanctified life, with regular prayer and fasting.
  • End result, all the darkness will start to leave.

If you do the following steps, demons, curses and all spiritual darkness will start to leave you. It is a process, but you can do this. The devils rely on your ignorance of not knowing and believing the truth, to keep you bound and to torment you.

You must forgive others as Christ has forgiven you. This is the one thing that most people who confess Christ struggle with. You must forgive and repent and decide to turn away from all sin. Jesus Christ is already Lord, but you must make Him Lord of your life. The word tells us..

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8.32

19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10.19

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, Colossians 1:13

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:13

Jesus Christ through the sacrifice at the cross, (death, burial and resurrection) paid for all our sins and iniquities. It says, "having wiped it out and nailed it to the cross". He then disarmed ALL principalities and powers. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11

The truth is, that Jesus Christ through the cross has already set you free. You just need to believe, get discipled and walk out your new freedom. Jesus Christ is God,  He is the risen Lord and above every demonic Kingdom. He has the pre-eminence.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the pre-eminence. Colossians 1.15

Freedom is Within Your Reach

If you believe these spiritual truths, all other spirits will start to leave one by one, the weakest first. The timeline for freedom is dependent on depths of darkness you have been involved in. These entities enjoy living in your house, they don’t want to leave. They will wait to see if you are serious before they start to go. They may try to hang around and scare you with the usual dark dreams and different types of torment to induce fear and keep you in bondage. You are not alone. Don’t believe the lie. They want you to stop and not know the truth that Jesus Christ has by the cross set you free.

This is why you must continue and finish until all have gone, and they will all go. This is guaranteed. You must be bold and courageous. Ask Jesus through the Holy Spirit to help you.

Start with an understanding of repentance and then say the prayer of repentance at the end of this page

Please Note: The information provided here is to help those being tormented get freedom. The person facing serious issues is encouraged to find a local Bible-believing Church that will come alongside them and help them get delivered through discipleship. As such, we are not able to make any appointments to deal with any serious issues.

We are NOT a deliverance ministry. We are a full Gospel Church that train and equip the saints for the work of ministry and as such these situations are best resolved locally through discipleship. It’s a process and not a quick fix as some may believe.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7
