Leave The Job · Sunday 29 March 2026

In September I started a new job. It was great — too good to be true. Then I started seeing the cracks. They announced they were going to start selling hormones to young kids to stop their transgender journey early. As Christians we're told that we're made in God's image. I told them I didn't agree with it. Something kept telling me: "Leave the job." I live by myself, I help my sister at uni, my dad doesn't help us — I've got bills, I'm behind on some. I can't afford to leave this job. But it didn't resonate with what I believe, and God will provide for me. So I left. My manager gave me a really bad reference, even lied about me. My usual reaction would be rage — but I thought, maybe she's going through something, let me pray for her. Then I had a dream that night — a door of light and a voice: "You're betting against me. Stop worrying. There's something better coming." Don't bet against God.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

— Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
