Holy Matrimony at Garston Community Church – Biblical Weddings

Holy Matrimony at Garston Community Church

Garston Community Church is officially recognised and legally registered to conduct Christian weddings. We honour Holy matrimony as defined in Scripture: a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, before God and witnesses. This is a deeply sacred service  before God and an unbreakable agreement until death for both involved. There is great blessing in this Godly union for the generations. We advise all to have been baptised in Christ and both are bound by the word of God.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
— Genesis 2:24

Marriage is more than a legal contract — it is a spiritual union established by God. We conduct weddings in accordance with biblical teaching and the laws of the land, celebrating the joining together of a man and a woman into a life-long covenant of love, fidelity, and service to one another under God.

Biblical Foundations for Marriage

Our understanding of marriage is rooted in both the Old and New Testaments:

“What God has joined together, let not man separate.” – Mark 10:9

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.” – Ephesians 5:25

“Let marriage be held in honour among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled.” – Hebrews 13:4

Marriage is a picture of Christ and the Church — a holy, loving, and committed relationship.
