Testimony

Point To The Cross · Sunday 22 March 2026

Good morning church. Short testimony. I have the pleasure of doing outreach on a Friday, and some brothers from other churches join us as well — we're one body after all in Christ. One little thing: I was preaching below the steps near the kiosk, and when I turned around there was a lady up near the cross with her hands out like that, and another lady taking a picture of her. I said, "Hang on a moment — stay there." I went to get the nails and the hammer, and she said, "No, no, no, don't do that." So they took a few more photos, and I said, "There's one more — come down the steps a bit and point to the cross." That was the one she took. And that's the one we all point to at Easter time — every chance we have, point to the cross, point to Jesus Christ. Yesterday morning in my prayer time I said, "Lord, your word says we should pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more workers into the harvest field." I got on my knees and prayed, and the Lord answered. There was a child giving tracts out, a lady who'd met me the day before turned up too. I was across near the high street and I looked back and saw all this happening — people in prayer, people chatting, tracts going out, and the big cross was there. Inside I was just excited. I'm sure the Lord is excited when we're out there standing for him, and he will bring the people to us.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
