Testimony
I was looking at my life before, thinking, "Oh, the job that I do is like a burden." I'm a cleaner, and I was thinking, "This is not the best job. I could do better." Back home, if I said I'm a cleaner, my family might think, "Don't say too much about that — you went to university and you clean people's houses." There was a time when I thought this way.
But recently God has been showing me something else. God is showing me how much he has actually blessed me, and now I look at my job as a blessing. I have things someone else wouldn't have. I have the freedom to listen to what I want while I'm working. I don't get pulled into the nonsense you get when people work together — the little arguments, the jealousy, the comparing. I enter people's houses and I can shine, and I can tell them about God. It gives me a platform to be close to people I normally wouldn't have any relationship with — I wouldn't have the chance to talk to them, but because I'm in their space, they actually listen.
It is incredible for me to look at this job as a blessing now, and to embrace it — and the more I do, the more God gives. The doors he opens within the cleaning industry are just incredible. I feel overwhelmed by how much good is happening. My mind is changing, to look at something I once saw as a burden and see it as a blessing instead — to actually embrace what I have and be happy with it, rather than constantly thinking about what I don't have. The Lord is good. Very good.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
