My wife has ongoing health issues that cause her a lot of pain and immobility. A few weeks ago, her pain was so severe that she needed help with everything and had to visit the hospital, but the usual painkillers didn't help. After a doctor's appointment, some friends from church came over to pray for her. She felt an immediate warmth, especially on the side where most of the pain was. I also felt the warmth when I put my hand on her head. The pain left instantly, and she was able to be active and dance the next day. Although the pain returned later, I believe in the power of prayer and that God will heal her again. This experience showed me that God can work miracles, sometimes instantly.
