Testimony
The Lord gave me a word this week: 'fast doesn’t last.' I was facing a situation where I needed to save a significant amount of money, and it felt overwhelming. I remembered that before I got sober, I had a job that paid well but wasn’t godly, and I could have earned the money quickly. But God showed me that shortcuts don’t last, and He is more interested in building character. He led me to Proverbs 13:11, which says that wealth gained dishonestly will diminish, but gathering by labour will increase. This encouraged me to trust God’s timing and process, knowing that doing things His way builds lasting character.
