Keeping Hope Alive In Prayer · Sunday 6 September 2026

This week, I've been meditating on the word 'hope.' As I reflected, I realised how important it is not to lose hope, even in difficult situations. Sometimes, like Sarah in the Bible, we can become so comfortable with our circumstances that we stop believing things can change. But the woman with the issue of blood had hope even after twelve years, and that hope turned into faith, which led to her healing.

I've found that when I hear God's word, it gives me hope for my own situations. There have been times when I stopped praying about certain things, thinking that's just how it is. But now, I've come back to God, resurrected my faith, and I'm praying and believing again. Even if God hasn't spoken yet, I keep asking and persisting, trusting that He can change and transform any situation.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

— Romans 8:28 (KJV)

What did the Lord say to you while reading this — and what will you do about it before the week is out?
