Testimony
Last Sunday, God woke me up early to read Proverbs 4, which speaks about how our way of thinking isn't always God's plan. After reading, I messaged a good friend, and she called me in tears because of a difficult situation with her husband. I knew I had to go to her, as God reminded me that Christ in us is the hope of glory. Even though she knows God, the situation was overwhelming, and she felt like she was drowning.
While I was sitting in church, a child handed me a note that said, 'By grace through faith,' which was exactly what I had shared with my friend. I encouraged her to read Hebrews 11, which focuses on the faith and hope of those who went before us. I reminded her that we are here to give God glory, and that in the midst of the storm, a heart of gratitude and thankfulness can help us find hope. I also shared with a visitor recently that everything I have is only by the grace of God. As believers, we have so much to be thankful for, and we should keep our eyes on things above, trusting that God is the hope of glory.
