Beloved,

Beloved,

As I was out for my walk this morning — running, walking, and talking to the Lord — I saw a glimpse of a city with many people walking around, as if I were in the midst of them.

I believe that even though we are here on earth, our real citizenship is in heaven, and it means something.
Acts 22:22

And they listened to him until this word, and then they raised their voices and said, “Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he is not fit to live!”

Then, as they cried out and tore off their clothes and threw dust into the air, the commander ordered him to be brought into the barracks and said that he should be examined under scourging, so that he might know why they shouted so against him.

And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said to the centurion who stood by, “Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman, and uncondemned?”

When the centurion heard that, he went and told the commander, saying, “Take care what you do, for this man is a Roman.” Then the commander came and said to him,

“Tell me, are you a Roman?”

He said, “Yes.”

The commander answered, “With a large sum I obtained this citizenship.”

And Paul said, “But I was born a citizen.”

We are Re-born Citizens

By faith we are already placed in the Holy city if we continue with the Lord daily.

Paul also confirms this in the following passage:

Phil 3:20

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

A Glorious Body

Beloved, enter into the Spirit and let Him open your spiritual eyes so that you may be encouraged. We have the Holy and divine one with us – so do not fear. We are protected
by the Lord.

Dwell on this: We will not remain in this old body forever, but will receive a glorified new body and a spiritual city as a dwelling place.

Have a blessed day in victory, since the Victor lives in us.

Bless the Lord and praise His Holy name always.

[But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Promise of My Father

Promise of My Father

Beloved,

We have just come through the season of Lent — the Last Supper, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday.

So the question is: what’s next?

“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49)

This is what comes next.

Jesus told them to tarry to wait, until they were clothed with power from above.

For us as believers today, we already have access to the Holy Spirit, with us and in us.

But in this season, let’s be intentional about Him. Let’s walk with Him more closely each day.

How He Helps Us

1. He leads you in the way of righteousness
Live a life led by the Spirit, not by impulse or the flesh.

2. He gives you power to change
True transformation comes from within, through relationship. He shapes us to become more like Christ.

3. He brings abundant life
When we are connected to Him, the source of life, we gain wisdom, guidance, and the ability to make right choices daily for a better tomorrow.

Tree of Life

Think of a tree in blossom, life flowing from the roots, through the trunk, into the branches, and out to the leaves.

That is what life in the Spirit looks like. Let the Holy Spirit flow through every part of your life body, soul, and spirit.

One thing

If you can do just one thing each day, let it be this:

Tarry.

Wait. Linger. Be still.
Patiently make space for His voice, His guidance, and His presence.

Before you start your day, and throughout it, take moments to connect with the Holy One.

He is waiting for you.

May you grow, little by little, in making time for the Holy Spirit — until your life overflows with the abundance that comes from walking with God.

Because without Him, we can do nothing.

Bless the Lord.
And as the Lord lives, may He continue to show us mercy by His grace to the very end.

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Selah
Psalm 46:10

Word & Power

Word & Power

Beloved,

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father. Knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God.

For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
(1 Thessalonians 1:2–5)

The Word

We all love to read the Word of God to understand what God has said and what He is saying to us today. It is the voice of the Good Shepherd written down to guide and direct our lives.

However…

We are reminded that the Gospel does not come in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit.

This means God’s power, through the Holy Spirit, is actively working in our lives. As much as we value reading the Word, we must also experience the presence and working of the Holy Spirit, who abides in us and leads us into all truth.

Don’t be fooled by those who present the word only.

For Us

Let us remind ourselves: we are not alone.

God’s Spirit is in us and with us, alongside the Word of God. He gives us the power to live this Christian walk daily. not just in knowledge, but in reality.

This means the miraculous and the supernatural working in our life.

Be Encouraged

In this season leading up to Pentecost,
the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, let us remember who we are.

We are people in whom the Spirit of God dwells.

Let us seek to demonstrate this daily in how we live.

This is a good time to ask the Lord to help us grow.

Wherever we are in our walk, to receive more power to do what He has called us to do.

Short Prayer

Father in heaven,
You know my heart.
Help me to connect more deeply with Your Holy Spirit in my daily life.

Let my walk not be in word only, but also in power.

Lead me, strengthen me, and fill me afresh.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As the Lord lives may He continue with His grace towards us as a good, good Father.

Bless the Lord. I say bless the Lord always.

[18Now some are [puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 1 Cor 4.18]

Love…

Love…

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.1 Cor 13.4]

Love Conquers All

The strongest power in the world is love, and by this we mean the unconditional love of God the agape love that goes on forever and ever.

But how do we attain, access, or walk in this type of love?

We Are Given the Answer

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us
Romans 5:5

Love Is a Person

The Holy Spirit is the love of God poured out into our hearts. We need to practise this type of agape love every day, since we have access to Him. Love lives in us.

However, this does not mean we are to roll over, be taken advantage of, or walk in compromise.

Love speaks the truth in love, is lovingly fierce, strong, bold and wise and does not compromise.

Love also protects just as you would pull a child back from running into the road, or pull people out of a burning fire.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
Romans 5:8

May we all walk more in this type of supernatural love not of the flesh, but from the source of the Holy Spirit who abides in us.

Bless the Lord, and may we all grow in the love of God and bear fruit, that the world may know we are His disciples.

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:35

Abide in Love

Abide in Love

Beloved,

I pray you are having a blessed week and making every effort to spend time with the Lord.

The disciples would have, in these last remaining days after

His ascension, been preparing for the coming of the Holy Spirit, another like Jesus, a divine empowering encounter with the Comforter who does not leave, but comes to abide in us in love.

“No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Saviour of the world.”
1 John 4:12–14.]

Love Our Neighbour

This Sunday is Pentecost, for the first time we are holding the service outside the front of the church. How wonderful!

Please be on time and come celebrate with us. Sit on a chair or bring a blanket to sit on the grass.

Please can we all pray not just for us who have the Holy Spirit, but for our local community that the Holy Spirit may fall upon those who do not yet know Him.

May the mighty rushing wind come and bring encounters to our neighbours.

The second commandment calls us to love our neighbour, and how deeply we long for them to be saved and receive the beautiful gift of salvation. This is love.

Please Lord, Do It Again!

The Hebrides Revival began on the Isle of Lewis after two elderly sisters, Peggy Smith and Christine Smith, prayed faithfully for God to revive their community.

One sister was blind and the other suffered from severe arthritis, yet they spent long hours praying for the young people of the island.

They stood on scriptures such as:

“For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground…
Isaiah 44:3

and

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray… then I will hear from heaven…
2 Chronicles 7:14

As believers gathered to pray, a deep conviction of sin spread across the island.

Many people turned to Christ, prayer meetings filled through the night, and entire communities were impacted by a powerful awareness of God’s presence.

Church, Let Us Be Praying

Let us ask the Lord for a hunger to pray without ceasing, and for mercy for the lost this Pentecost.

May He raise up true intercessors, just like the sisters in the revival, for the Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We can only walk in this if He abides in our hearts. Let us enter the secret place and ask the Lord for more love. More Power and More of Him in our lives.

Bless the Lord may you all discover a fresh, enduring love for prayer and be partakers of His Holiness.

For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.

But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of

My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams…

And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.’”
Acts 2:15–18

Stand Firm

Stand Firm

Beloved,

The Lord had many times when family members did not believe the truth of who He was or the message of the Gospel and would have dismissed Him as we read below

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing.

For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If

You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” For even His brothers did not believe in Him.

Then Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil. You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come.” When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee
John 7-9

Stand Firm

God often calls us to be the first in our families to follow Him, to Hold the line.

That can be a lonely place, but it is also a sacred responsibility.

We are called to hold the line for the Lord and remain faithful in the work He has given us.

There will be times when family or friends do not understand, and may even try to pull us back into old ways or old lifestyles.

But our foundation must remain in Christ, not in the opinions or pressures around us.

Jesus Himself understood this. Even His own family did not always believe in Him at first.

Yet He did not move by pressure or expectation. He moved in obedience to the Father’s timing, will and calling.

In the same way, we are called to stand firm, even when others do not yet understand.

We are called to be a living example not by force, but by faithfulness and examples

Our lives become a living witness through the seasons, so that those closest to us may one day see the truth through our walk with God.

We don’t hold the line in our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit .[Think Pentecost]

And we trust that God is able to work all things together for good, even in seasons of misunderstanding or resistance.

Families Saved

In time, even those closest to Jesus came to believe. James the Just and Jude once did not believe during His earthly ministry, yet later became key leaders in the early church.

Their lives remind us that God can transform hearts over time.

What begins in. misunderstanding can become a powerful testimony of grace.

We are therefore called to remain faithful in our homes and families as sons, daughters, parents, husbands, and wives trusting that God can use our steadfastness as a witness.

Some may not understand now, but by the grace of God, they may one day come to faith and be saved.

Full-Time Worker of God

God does not employ zero-hours workers, but offers a full employment covenant in Christ, with eternal benefits, grace for every season, and a reward that does not fade. May we all be about the Fathers business and not only our own.

May the Lord give us all a greater understanding of what His love in US all can achieve for the profit of all around us.

A change/impact in the life of someone else as we all follow the Christ.

Bless the Lord and may He continue to be graceful to us and encourage, strengthen and establish us for the work ahead.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work
John 4:34

The Power of a Pure Life.

The Power of a Pure Life.

Beloved,

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.

For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit
1 Thessalonians 4:3–8

For Us

Purity is not simply the absence of sin; it is the work of the Holy Spirit transforming the heart of a believer.

As we walk with Christ, the Spirit produces self-control, restraint, and a desire to honour God in both body and mind.

We live in a world that constantly appeals to the flesh. Temptation is celebrated, boundaries are mocked, and Holiness is often viewed as weakness.

Yet God’s people are called to be different. We are called to be set apart.

The enemy hates Holiness because he can never again share in the holiness and fellowship with God for which he was originally created. The spiritual real hate Holiness because there are many spirits, but only ONE Holy Spirit who cannot be counterfeited, because all can see the fruit.

Therefore, he works tirelessly to corrupt hearts and minds, seeking to draw people away from the Lord and into bondage through deception.

But the Holy Spirit works in the opposite direction, leading us into truth, purity, and freedom.

We Do Our Part

Scripture tells us to take every thought captive and bring it into obedience to Christ. The battle for purity often begins in the mind.

What we allow our eyes to see, our ears to hear, and our thoughts to dwell upon will shape the condition of our hearts.

There is great power in living a holy and sanctified life. It stands in complete contrast to the spirit of this age. Christ is preparing His Church, His Bride, to be pure and ready for His appearing.

How Do We Walk in Purity?

1. Spend Time with God

2. Purity grows in the presence of God. Spend time daily in prayer, worship, and His Word. The more we behold Christ, the more we are changed into His likeness.

3. Resist the Flesh The flesh wars against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. Victory comes through daily surrender to the Holy Spirit and obedience to God’s commands.

4. Guard Your Eyes and Mind

Job declared: “I have made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I look upon a young woman?
Job 31:1

Be careful what you allow into your heart and mind. What enters through the eyes often settles in the soul.

Be Filled with the Spirit

As your hunger for God’s presence increases, the desires of the flesh begin to lose their influence. A Spirit-filled life is a fruitful life.

A Picture of Purity

The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland and appears on the UK coat of arms as a symbol of purity, strength, and power. Ancient legends taught that such a powerful creature could only be approached and tamed through purity.

Whether legend or symbolism, it reminds us of an important truth: holiness is not weakness. True strength is power under God’s control. The pure life is not a restricted life; it is a life surrendered to the Lord and empowered by His Spirit.

May we pursue Holiness (Recent Pentecost ) with all diligence, not trusting in our own strength but in the grace and power of God.

For He has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness. Bless the Holy Lord.

Worry Cycle

Worry Cycle

Beloved,

We had an awesome Life Meeting yesterday, and the Spirit of the Lord led us here:

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”
Romans 8:5–9

Simply Put

The carnal (fleshly) mind will keep you focused on negative things, and if you allow this, it will build a fortress, a stronghold, and a way of thinking that is against God—a cycle of worry leading down the wrong path.

A mind that fights against God’s promises and truth for you leads to death.

The Good News

You get to choose each day:

“To be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

This is where we must all strive to live, from a mind that is surrendered to the Holy Spirit, a mind of humility, a mindset that trusts God against all odds, and a mind that is in-tune and in-time with the Lord.

This means taking every thought and vain imagination captive. It is a mind of peace and a mind of Christ.

Your Mind Is for God To Communicate with

“For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.”
Job 33:14–16

What Drives You?

We all need a dream, a vision, and instruction placed within us that drives us forward. This is where the Holy Spirit seals our instruction and purpose for life.

Do you have yours? Ask the Lord.

You will not find your purpose in the Word alone, but through the Holy Spirit working alongside the Word. Those who walk in relationship with Him will hear His direction and leading.

So, beloved, stop worrying and begin focusing your mind on things above. God saved you for a purpose. Find your identity in Him.

Remember, the Word tells us:

“But we have the mind of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 2:16

Bless the Lord with thanksgiving, gratitude, and praise.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a servant…”
Philippians 2:5–7

Wet Blanket

Wet Blanket

Beloved,

In my spirit today, I sensed the Lord speaking about “wet blankets.” When you are on fire, you do not want anything around you that will quench that flame.

You want other fires, people who are burning, to come alongside you, so together the fire grows stronger.

Think about starting a fire. It takes effort to kindle it, to get it going, to build it up. No one would put a wet blanket over it once it begins to burn. Instead, they add fuel, materials that help it grow hotter, brighter, and stronger.

In the same way, we are called to stay alight for Him, living in His warmth, His light, and His protection, especially in a dark world.

Wet Blankets Quench

When we say wet blankets, we mean anything that dampens the Holy Spirit.

Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things, hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:19

This is a reminder to be mindful of what, and who, we allow around us. Stay close to what feeds the fire. Guard against anything that slowly dampens it, because that is often how it happens, not all at once, but gradually. And once a fire is soaked, it is very hard to reignite.

How To Keep The Fire Burning

“Is not My word like a fire,” says the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”
Jeremiah 23:29

Read, listen, watch, meditate on the Word of God, to fuel the fire.

Sing, worship with melodies in your heart towards the Lord, by the Spirit who lives in you.

It is up to you to make every effort. Stay on fire for the Lord each day, and do your best to avoid anything that acts like a wet blanket.

May your zeal for God grow inside you, to produce a consuming fire for Jesus Christ, and may the love of the Holy Spirit fill you and overflow from within you.

Bless the Lord. Stay close to God and He will stay close to you.

Do not be deceived, evil company corrupts good habits.
1 Corinthians 15:33

Inseparable

Who…

Shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35]

Inseparable

This beautiful verse should encourage you today and every day.

It tells us in simple terms that whatever we are going through, even if all of hell or death itself is against us, we cannot be separated from the love of God.

But what can trick us

The only thing that can trick you into believing you are separate from God is your carnal mind (fleshy mind), which is enmity against God.

It will gladly rise up like a bad virus, bringing negative images, voices, and memories to convince you that God has abandoned you and that you have failed.

1. Don’t let it isolate you.

2. Don’t believe the lie.

But…

Believe in the truth, who is Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit of truth.

When we believe like this, we are more than conquerors as the word tells us.

May we all grow to have the belief system that Paul spoke about, so we can also say, “I am persuaded that nothing is able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Live connected to God as the Word teaches us and rely on the Holy Spirit more-so.

This is the safest place to live from every day.

Remind yourself daily of this truth and be strengthened in your inner man. The Lord has you, if you only believe.

It is time to take your belief and faith to the next level in this season. Be hungry for the things of the Lord.

Ask the Lord to help you live from the mind of Christ, which believes all things.

Go do it and produce fruit for Christ our Lord. Change your mind and change your life.

Bless the Lord, and as the Lord lives, may He continue to be gracious and patient with us until we grow up into all things.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:2

COME EXPECTING. LEAVE ENCOURAGED. LIVE EMPOWERED.
