Holy Spirit Filled
Beloved,
We have just spent the month of January in consecration, cutting off the old and making space for the new life which is found in Him
We all need more of the Holy Spirit, who fills us with His presence.
Before we do anything and before we start the day let us remember to ask the Holy Spirit — our Comforter — to be with us and to dwell within us.
Jesus told His disciples the same thing:
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from
Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, ‘which,’ He said, ‘you have heard from Me; for John truly baptised with water, but you shall be baptised with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.’”

Wait!
In a world full of movement and busyness, which causes impatience, we are directed to wait on Him.
Why?
Because He is our guide for the day, and for every day.
He gives us peace and strength to carry on in love, with wisdom and power. Especially when we’re struggling.
We are called to live Spirit-led lives, not flesh-led lives. This is part of the new covenant.
What can you do?
Make February a month of beginning each day by waiting on the Lord in stillness.
Make this an everyday habit before you leave your house.
The Holy Spirit responds to obedience, and a more impactful way of life will follow us if we take Him seriously. Make Him important!
Jesus said He would never leave us nor forsake us — and this is accomplished through the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.
The Sailboat
A sailboat is dependent on the wind to reach its destination without it, it simply drifts aimlessly.
Take every opportunity to allow Him to lead by being filled.
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Let us all live this year with a divine purpose, not a drift on the sea.
Let us all live the full life He died to give us on the cross, a life lead and filled by His Holy Spirit.
And as the Lord lives, may He be patient and compassionate with us all each day. Ask Him to give you understanding in all things.
