Testimony
One of the children shared this story with the church, about jealousy and how God's plan cannot be stopped:
Joash was a baby prince. His grandmother Athaliah was wicked — she wanted to kill him so she could be queen, and she tried to wipe out the whole family, the whole line of King David, so that the line that would produce Jesus would be gone. But Joash was hidden in God's house until he was seven years old. Then he was brought out and made king, even though he was just a little boy, and he ruled for forty years in Jerusalem. He did what God said was right.
Athaliah tried to rule forever, but there is no forever for her. She tried to stop God's plan — but she didn't.
