No Break In Christ · Sunday 24 May 2026

One thing that came to my mind now, when I was praying about what to bring from this week — because so much happens with Jesus, my life is not boring. It was never boring, but now it's not boring at all. It's exciting every next day. I don't know what it's going to bring, but I'm happy that every next day is just so thrilling.

One thing that came to my mind was something I've heard: when you are a Christian, there is no break. Let me explain how it manifested in my life. Sometimes when I'm here, it's easy. It's easy to dress, easy to talk, easy to praise the Lord — everyone is tuned in to the same tune, which is the Holy Spirit, Jesus. That is beautiful. But when you go out it is hard. We all know it's hard. It is hard to the point that you really, really have to stick with Jesus — in so many things: when we go shopping, what we choose, how we look at things, how we dress, what we put on our phone, what we listen to. It's incredible how much God is showing me that the old behaviours and the old ways just do not look good on you.

Just by being in another place, you can feel pinched. I went to a comedy night and I couldn't sit there. Before, I would have laughed, had a drink, just gone with the flow. But now it is incredible how much things like inappropriate jokes and swearing literally give me an electric shock through my body — to the point that I had to leave. I went back, but I had to leave. I had to give it a break.

What I'm trying to say is that no matter how hard it is, we have to always choose Jesus. He is the way. There is no going back. There's no back and forth — it's Jesus is the way, and the only way. No matter where we are — London, our house, a room — Jesus is the way. And that's what I want to say.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

— John 3:16 (KJV)

What did the Lord say to you while reading this — and what will you do about it before the week is out?
