Testimony
Yesterday a few of us went door-to-door, sharing the love of Christ. One of the doors I knocked on was a lady from a Muslim background — her door was wide open and she was in the garden. She invited me to sit on her patio.
When I asked if she wanted prayer, tears started to flow. She'd been through a lot — past and current trauma. I had no words of my own, only His. I read Jeremiah 29 from one of our cards — "I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not for evil" — and she just wept, more and more with every sentence. Then I read from Revelation, about the new heaven and the new earth, and her eyes didn't blink the whole time. The Word of God is powerful.
I left her with the book of John, a laminated Psalm 23 (she put it on her garden fence — "I'm going to leave it here"), and an invitation to our church. She gave me her phone number. Let's see how the Lord leads it.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
