This is more a word of thanks. I have four children, all with various different disabilities, and I had an issue with home-to-school transport. Two of my children go to the same school; one got his transport, and his older brother was refused. It wasn't just me — a lot of parents at the school had the same problem.
With a lot of phone calls, a lot of emails, a few temper tantrums — and definitely a lot of praying — we finally won the appeal, and he now has his home-to-school transport. They were expecting him to catch a bus, but he's so vulnerable I don't even let him walk to the shop by himself.
It might seem like something really small to some people, but for me it is a major help.
