Cafeteria Witness · Sunday 29 March 2026

I was sitting in my school cafeteria — I don't usually sit there. I saw two of the ladies who work the cafeteria come out on break, and I felt compelled to talk to them about their faith. I didn't really want to, but I went up anyway. They hadn't really heard about Jesus. Then a third lady came out — "she has a lot of faith," they said. I asked her what she believed. "I'm a Christian." We started talking about Jesus, and the other ladies were listening. She said she came to faith at 33 — someone kept inviting her to church, and eventually she gave her life to the Lord. I get discouraged at school being surrounded by people who don't know Jesus. It was so encouraging.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

— Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
