Testimony
This morning I had a vision. I was sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea, watching last night's boxing on YouTube, when everything around me seemed to disappear. The TV screen and the wall became like a cinema. I saw a bright light, clouds — not the clouds we see, hard to describe, just stunningly beautiful — and two figures. One passed a large box to the other. Then I was inside a plain whitewashed room with wooden floorboards, a long table and one chair. A figure I believe was Jesus walked in, sat down, and placed the box on the table. Over what felt like years but was only seconds, he came back again and again — unwrapping the box, revealing a huge jigsaw puzzle of thousands of pieces, and beginning to place the bigger pieces. The first big piece went smack in the middle, and it was explained to me that this was the day I met the church at the park, the day I knew I was going to hell if I didn't change. The next big piece was this church. Then my baptism. Then visions, dreams, growth, wisdom. The last was my wife's baptism. Each time a nucleus of small pieces grew around the big piece, and they all began to connect. I think the Lord is showing me that there's still a void in my growth, but it's slowly filling in from the corners, piece by piece. It's all a plan, and things don't happen straight away — they happen in stages.
