Testimony
On Monday I joined a live prayer session online, and someone shared a testimony of a dream they'd had. In the dream it was judgement day, and they saw two lines of people — and in their hearts they could see seeds of unforgiveness. The Lord pointed to the man's own heart and showed him seeds there too. He protested, "But Lord, I've forgiven my ex-wife everything." And the Lord said, "If that's the case, why is it that when she calls you, what is the posture of your heart? What are your thoughts in that moment?" That really spoke to me. I asked the Lord to reveal any seeds of unforgiveness in my own heart, and instantly he showed me my father. In my mind I thought I'd forgiven him, but a lot of the time when he calls or messages I think, "Oh gosh, here he goes again." I tolerated him rather than truly forgiving him. I repented and asked the Lord to help me genuinely love him from the heart, not just outwardly. And I kid you not — on Thursday my father sent me a message, and it was a prayer for his daughter. You couldn't make it up. We see the seeds in other people's hearts, but we have to look at our own heart first. Thank you, Lord.

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
