Learning To Walk Again · Sunday 4 October 2026

I've come to give glory, honour and adoration to the Lord God Almighty, who has been so faithful to me and to my family in my healing. I look at myself and I say: God, is it me? I can live like myself again now - sometimes I still have little challenges, but not like before.

And every time I can do these things, I remember those who have been in my life through those years. Putting me to bed before they left my house. Massaging my body. Doing my shopping. Picking me up in the morning and dropping me home in the evening. Sending messages: what do you need? Whatever you need, we are ready to help you. And all the prayers all of you have given me.

One day, as two friends from church were helping me walk - we started in the living room, then out to the corridor - I sat down by the window and I was crying. I said: will I ever walk again? And the answer came back: you will walk. God said you will walk again, but you have to be patient.

And another day, in the course of being patient, I started walking slowly. I came out of my apartment and I just kept going - like a baby's first steps - and I didn't stop until I got to the main entrance. I didn't know I could do it.

God has used all of you to help me in my healing, and I appreciate it. And in addition, the Lord added one more year to my age on this planet earth yesterday. Glory be to God.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

What did the Lord say to you while reading this — and what will you do about it before the week is out?
