Testimony
I didn't really have a testimony - I just wanted to talk about my walk with the Lord this morning. I was out walking the dog, saying "hi, good morning" to people as I passed. Some of them just ignore you, which is fine - I keep walking and smiling. And I had my hoodie on that says JESUS. And I started thinking: I'm a Christian, I'm an ambassador of Christ. So the way I walk, the way I behave, my actions, the way I speak - it should be Christlike.
At work there's a way I need to behave. Around anyone, negative or positive, there's a way I need to behave. You want people to ask: what is it that's different about you? When we walk with the Lord, when we have relationship with him and walk in his Spirit, we can always walk like Christ.
As the scripture says: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." When I wear a t-shirt or a hoodie that says Jesus, I want people to know I am like Jesus in my actions and my attitude.
Then I got the whole church singing "This Little Light of Mine" with me. I know I can't sing - but I don't care. I just glorify the Lord, because he's so amazing. I used to be depressed, miserable and angry all the time. Now I walk around with a smile, only because I've got the Spirit - and the joy of the Lord is my strength. All glory and honour to him.
