Testimony
I want to share a small testimony about children — especially as today is the children's baptisms. Children are so precious; they have such a pure, childlike faith.
My son was baptised here a year or two ago, and sometimes I wonder — does he really understand? I tell him about the Lord, but you do wonder. Then we came to a situation where I was changing his school, and it was a really hard decision between two schools. One was like Hogwarts — super grand, amazing, school skiing trips, the lot. The other was small, not so grand, but it was a Christian school.
I asked my son what he wanted to do. He said, "Mummy, I don't want to go anywhere that's not going to be talking about Jesus and teaching me about Jesus. I want to go to a school where I'll learn about God and be around people who love Jesus." I was having such a hard time with the decision — but in his mind, there was no choice.
That really moved me. It made me realise that children are sometimes closer to the Lord than we are. They might not always seem to be listening, but they are — and it plants seeds. So I want to encourage all the parents: our children really can understand the things of God, and they have a faith that is truly beautiful. Praise the Lord.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

What did the Lord say to you while reading this — and what will you do about it before the week is out?
