Testimony
I want to share a testimony. A week and a half ago I was off work, showing some builders around — they were doing a lot of brick pointing, repairing where the frost had damaged the outside of the bricks, about 400 of them. But in my mind there was one particular brick out on the wall outside that I knew had to be done. I said, "While you're doing this, I want to show you another brick outside."
So I went out onto the road and showed the builder the brick. As we were discussing the work, a teenage boy passed by, and I simply said to him, "God loves you." He looked at me and walked off down the road. I finished with the builder and went down to the shop for some materials. When I came back, the builder told me the boy had come back looking for me — because what I'd said had touched his heart.
The builder himself could see it. He said he'd expected the lad to tell me to mind my own business, but instead he saw the word — love in action. I didn't preach at him or tell him to repent; I just told him God loves him. We approach people out of love. I give God the glory for that opportunity.
Even that night I had a short dream — an office, and a little boy came in and gave me a box of sweets, and I found myself telling him about Jesus. Even in our sleep the Lord is working. So I praise God for my health and for the opportunities He gives us. My prayer is that everyone you meet, you will show them the love that Jesus showed — the love that condemned no one, but lifted people up.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

What did the Lord say to you while reading this — and what will you do about it before the week is out?
