Testimony
I came up to give God adoration - because he deserves all the adoration we can give him.
On Friday evening we had worship rehearsal, and I remembered what Friday nights used to be in my old life. I couldn't wait to finish work so I could go home and get ready to party. That was my Friday night.
But honestly, what we had on Friday was just about God. And I wouldn't want any other kind of Friday any more - just giving him adoration and praise and worship. Not about me. Just about him. Looking back, even in a glimpse, I realised: this is better than any Friday I had in the past.
So I encourage us all: when we worship him, let it not be about ourselves. Let it just be for him and who he is. Trust me - it turns your whole world around.
