No Longer Riddled With Fear · Sunday 1 November 2026

Before I knew the Lord, I was riddled with fear, especially about saying something to my boss because I worried about what they would think of me. That fear would stop me from being honest, and instead, I would lie to avoid confrontation. I told myself it wasn’t hurting anyone, but in reality, it was hurting me and, though I didn’t know it then, it was hurting the Lord too. That fear made me someone I wasn’t meant to be.

Now that I know the Lord, that fear of what others think is gone. I’ve learned to face situations honestly and accept the consequences of my actions. When fear tries to creep in, I shut it down and move forward. I’ve realised that fear magnifies things that are actually quite small, and with Christ’s perspective, I can shine and carry on. Perfect love really does cast out all fear, and I’m grateful for the transformation God has brought in my life.

✠️ FROM THE WORD
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

— Romans 8:28 (KJV)

What did the Lord say to you while reading this — and what will you do about it before the week is out?
